GAÏANA ANNOUNCES A FIFTH ACQUISITION WITH THE PURCHASE OF SPANISH COMPANY TIPSA
The acquisition of Tipsa is made off-market, this fifth external growth operation since 2019, is part of Gaïana's ambitious external growth strategy, implemented with the support of its majority shareholder Meanings Capital Partners.
Founded in 1992 and based in Logroño (La Rioja region, Spain), Tipsa is run by Juan Carlos Herce Rodriguez and Manuel Saenz Judez. The company offers a range of business applications (ERP, CRM, BI, e-commerce), mainly for Spanish and Portuguese customers in the wine sector. The solutions developed by Tipsa are marketed in SaaS mode.
The acquisition of Tipsa allows Gaïana to consolidate its position as European leader in the W&S solutions market (the Spanish market is the 3rd largest in the world behind France and Italy) and to expand its range of SaaS solutions based on Microsoft Business Central, perfectly aligned with Ayanet (previous acquisition in Spain), whose solutions target the agricultural sector.
